Honored to be asked by Samuel over at Picture Perfect Portfolios to contribute to his "How I Invest? series. Posting it here, to give you a little sense of the backstory behind Risk Parity Chronicles. Thanks, Sam, for the invitation!
One of the best things about starting this blog is the community that has started to form for DIY investors focused on asset allocation. I have gotten to know so many interesting folks through writing these blog posts and engaging on Twitter, and I've even gotten to know some people in real life after connecting them via the project. You write your ideas and throw them out to the world, not knowing if there are people with the same interests - and it's so gratifying to find your tribe!
So pleased, then, to be asked by Samuel to contribute to his series where he's asking various folks to give a bit of the backstory behind their investing approaches, their work, and their actual portfolios. Enjoy!

Samuel's project reminds me, of course, of a recent book by Brian Portnoy and Joshua Brown titled "How I Invest My Money: Finance experts reveal how they save, spend, and invest." Haven't read it yet, but it's on my list. Have listened to a podcast where he's interviewed about the book, though.
